Victoria:

TD Victoria International JazzFest: June 19-28

Formerly known as JazzFest International, this ten-day music festival features a mix of  jazz, blues and world music from local, Canadian, and international musicians.

Car Free YYJ: June 21

With over 200 vendors and exhibitors, this event is taking over six blocks of Douglas Street with music, entertainment, and more.

Vancouver:

Kitsilano Farmers’ Market: May 10 – October 25

Every Sunday from 10am to 2pm, check out the Kits Community Centre’s organic and conventional products of meats, cheeses, seafood and plants, as well as baked goods, crafts, and musical entertainment.

Scandinavian Midsummer Festival: June 20 & 21

Join thousands of people to celebrate Midsummer at the Scandinavian Community Centre with the raising of the Midsummer Pole, a Midsummer bonfire, lots of Scandinavian food, activities, entertainment and cultural displays as well as a Nordic market place.

Steveston Wine Fest: June 27

This second annual wine fest will include over 80 wines from local and international wineries in addition to food samples from local Steveston Merchants.

Calgary:

Calgary Greek Festival: June 19 – 21

Get transported to the ancient city of Greece and island Crete with traditional Greek food, wines, and authentic Hellenic dance and music performances.

YYC Lobster Fest: June 20 – 21

Try out fresh seafood, listen to live music and receive one lobster, a side dish and a bib with all proceeds going to benefit the Calgary Firefighters Burn Unit.

YYC Food Truck Summer Frenzy: June 26 – 28

Peruse a variety of different food trucks, sip on Village Brewery beer and enjoy live entertainment and bands.

Edmonton:

Beaumont Blues & Roots Festival: June 19 – 21

Originally the Beaumont Blues Festival, this event will provide high quality of music for all ages and include the best in live Canadian blues, roots, folk, and country music.

Bacon Fest YEG: June 30

Sample gourmet, one-of-a-kind bacon dishes from amazing restaurants, listen to music and other entertainment as well as the one of a kind bacon vodka Caesar.
