In Photos: Fashionistas Raise Style Stakes at Deighton Cup

It was a good-looking day at the races.

When it comes to Deighton Cup attire, it’s go big or go home (particularly in the hat department).

Sure, there was horse racing at the larger-than-ever, seventh annual Deighton Cup event at Vancouver’s Hastings Racecourse, but the real competition was in the stands as guests fashion-battled for best dressed bragging rights in the Style Stakes awards and its sizeable purse of $500.

WL sent in sartorial super-sleuth Joshua McVeity to capture the bow ties, the bling and the greatest in gravity-defying fascinators:
