Beer is the new wine—at
least for one new hotspot in downtown Regina. Beer Brothers Bakery & Cuisine,
from the five rugby-players-turned-restaurateurs behind Willow on Wascana, is
bringing in a new food fusion where beer is the main menu. (Well, sort of.) The
regular pub fare of nachos and wings were banished by executive chef Moe Matthew,
who prefers dishes like mussels and gumbos—all marinated in, smoked over
or paired with the perfect brew. The casual yet upscale space of course pours
everything from the exclusives like Bellevue Creek from Belgium to regular Pil.—Janna
