| Maybe your PlayStation
isn’t the problem. Maybe your couch is. It seems that getting kids active
is easy when there’s a gym that encourages playing video games. Intrigued?
Kids excited? You bet. New to Saskatoon’s fitness scene (and first in Western
Canada) is Bulldog Interactive Fitness for Youth, a full gym scaled down for your
Mini-Me and packed with kid-friendly incentives: PS2 Game Bikes, DDR, a moving
tread wall and plenty of circuit-training machines. Don’t worry Mom and
Dad, the equipment uses hydraulics, not weights, so there’s no risk of pinching
little fingers, and the staff are all qualified instructors with kinesiology backgrounds.
Free first-time tours, team training, birthday parties and summer camps are available.
