So many of Western Canada’s artists and industrial designers are so busy showing their work internationally that it was with no small effort that John Greg Ball (of the Hoodoo series of home objects) and Laura Fenniak corralled many of the best examples for a truly homegrown exhibition. Made in the West: An Art and Design Exhibition from the Great Frontier celebrates the regionalism and energy percolating in design and art in the West. Made in the West makes a major stop on its tour in Edmonton for The Works Art and Design Festival from June 20 to July 2.
