Revving up on Saturday, May 17,
Edmonton’s City Market kicks off its fourth season in the warehouse district.
Buttressed along two big blocks of historical warehouses—storefronts to
independent restaurants and clothing shops—the City Market offers a more
urban alternative to either folksy Strathcona or suburban Callingwood locales.
Each Saturday close to 100 regional vendors will offer traditional meats, breads
and veggies, along with new, unique vendors like yoga and reflexology studios,
local jewellers and designers and emerging visual artists. May 17 to October 11,
9 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine.—Amy Fung |
