Confession: I'm a a throw-pillow junkie. They're perfect for changing the look of a room instantly, and with neutral-toned furnishings (my sofa is grey, my love seat is white), I can go with just about any shade. But fuchsia has always been my favourite (witness my hot-pink wool coat), so I'm absolutely in love with this new line that Provide in Vancouver has created. Called Provide Made, these gorgeous cushions are designed by the store's owners in handwoven silk, in collaboration with Mitun Chakrabarti of Rajboori. They're made meticulously by hand using quilting-like techniques by artisans in India. I see a hint of pink in my living room's future.
