Artisan popsicle stands are fixtures in New York’s painfully hip Williamsburg, but DIY popsicles are simple to make at home and infinitely customizable. Choose your own colour palette-from electric green to pomegranate pink-and opt for juice, yogurt or cream depending on your mood. (I love mine with a splash of bitter Campari.) Standard popsicle molds will work just fine, but to really do something memorable pick up a Zoku home popsicle maker (zokuhome.com) and you’ll be serving things up in seven minutes. To elevate the presentation add fresh sliced fruit like banana, kiwi or lime (Mexican style). You’re never too old to have some summer fun.

RECIPE
Strawberry Pomegranate Yogurt Popsicle Recipe
1 L Organic Meadow Kéfir yogurt drink (or any yogurt thinned out with whole milk; can also substitute juice)
¼ cup pomegranate juice
Mix together yogurt and juice and add to molds or Zoku*. The quicker you want them, the longer they take to freeze-don’t ask us why.
